Great camera and motion detection floodlight. Easy to install and use of app to monitor videos of detected motion. A bit tricky to connect to wifi but instructions gave several ways to do so. Nice to not have to pay for being able to review video through app. Installed a micro mini card to store video and review later if need. Lets me know when motion is detected with a text notification through the app. The quality is well built. You are able to adjust the light brightness through the app. Price was reasonable. Video quality is great and clear picture viewing on phone screen. Made a good purchase.

I replaced a three-year old Lorex with this camera and couldn't be happier. The Lorex was problematic from day one, and unbelievably difficult to get working. This ieGeek unit was just the opposite. Super simple to get it up and running, and for me, one of the selling points was that it can use the CloudEdge app which I already have in use for my other cameras. The picture is good, the lights are nice and bright and the brightness can be adjusted if you like. It was less than half the price of a new Lorex. I'm glad I got this one! Now, let's see how long it lasts.

Easy installation, great lighting, and clear video. Adjustable motion sensitivity and ease of monitoring. Recommend adding 128 or 256GD SSD if not utilizing cloud storage or performing image clean up for extended capability

I have found this to be an excellent Camera right from taking it out of the box. It is robust, well designed and works flawlessly. I found initial installation and setup to be uncomplicated and relatively straight forward. I was up and running within a few minutes of downloading the App.I have chosen to use ieGeeks' own App for the remote management of the Camera, which has proven quick and responsive. A good internet connection really helps with the remote viewing of the camera. I have accessed the camera via the app with a 4G connection with no issues.The bonus with ieGeeks' range of Cameras is that you do not need to commit to a monthly subscription. This is why I initially chose their products. Simply buy a cheap SD card and slot it in. From there it is simple to configure the camera to record continuously, or just events as they happen. The App will notify you when events occur (which you can customize or turn off) if there is someone working/playing in from of the camera. Simply click on the notification and you can see what is happening live, or what happened when triggered. There is also an option built into the ieGeek App to have a small amount of free cloud storage. A premium plan for enhanced cloud storage is available for a small fee each month. A definite recommend!!

I’ve had this outdoor camera with LED lights for about a month now, and I’m really impressed. The picture quality is clear, both day and night, and the built-in LED lights are bright enough to light up the whole area. Setup was quick and easy—it connected to my Wi-Fi without any issues, and installation was simple. It’s been running smoothly with no problems at all. Overall, a solid security camera that does exactly what it promises.

This is my first hard wired camera and it works great. There are a lot of settings to adjust the different features such as video recording and motion light adjustment. The camera install was simple. Turn off the power and connect 3 wires. Works well with my camera system

This is so cool.It very easy to setup but if u don't believe you can do it have someone who is capable...Many nice features and alerts method to choose from.

I decided to purchase this ieGeek floodlight camera as my patio floodlight broke off of the wall due to weathering from the elements outdoors. It was actual made of cheap plastic. Though I have Ring products in my home, I chose to go with this ieGeek floodlight camera primarily because of its price point and easy set up using the iGeek app. I have three other ieGeek cameras and the setup was simple and flawless using the associated app. This brand of camera is really well made I'm discovering, and they don't go overboard on cost or setup instructions. I paid $100 for this thing.Unboxing made me happy as it does not come with 5000 different parts and pieces that may never be used. It has instructions, the unit itself, a foam mount cutout and minimal hardware. Since the light itself is made of metal and the actual lights are LED (what I wanted to avoid constant bulb changes) the maintenance will be very low. The camera and sensor are hard plastic and time will tell--usually three years--if the constant summer sun exposure will weaken their housing in addition to yellowing. With the router setup in the room right next to the patio there won't be any connectivity issues. The wiring for the light is simple--positive, negative, and a ground wire so anyone can install the light with a bit of "can do" attitude. The ieGeek app--which already has 3 cameras on it--even has the floodlight setup option if I want to go with a manual setup, of course I do not, but the option is available. Due to it being the rainy season in my area, I'll have to wait to get outside with the ladder and hook up this thing. I'll update accordingly when done, but I don't suspect any issues. This company's cameras are proving to be pretty solid for the price.

This camera is very impressive. It is a heavy duty unit that provides exceptional picture quality. We have this installed on our back deck and it provides crystal clear detail over our large back pasture in day and night. The installation itself was a breeze (just make sure you have a light junction box ready) - only took a few minutes as you basically just need to connect 3 wires and 3 screws. I'm no electrician, but was easy to do myself. The lights have some serious power - on max brightness they essentially light up my whole pasture! It is nice that you can adjust the brightness, as you can make them less bright if you just want ambient lighting outside etc. You have the functionality to adjust the motion detection sensitivity as well as setting a time when you want to the lights on - very useful. I previously just had a typical outside light in this spot, and this is a huge upgrade. Customizable lighting and excellent additional security with the high quality camera. Highly recommend!

Excellent floodlight light with camera. It has clear surveillance and supports both 5g and 2.4g frequencies. It's just what I needed for my back yard. I tested it in my office just to try it out.The only drawback is that it is not solar powered but it's not a big issue.

It was not entirety new. It was probably an already returned item.Update on 5/9/25: customer support got back to me stating that the camera was new, unused, unopened. They offered a replacement camera free of charge. I purchased 2 more (different model) and received a 10% discount. The cameras I purchased (embedded solar panel S1 Pro 5MP) were of really good quality. S1 Pro is suitable for my purposes long detection range, high quality of image, strong siren and good quality materials. Customer service was excellent, apart from the free stuff that they provided. Well done.

This camera blew my mind. I had an old floodlight that was burning 200w per hour and though let's replace it with an LED one, then this popped up on my horizon.I know ieGeek as they are my primary source for new security camera gear when I want to buy one. They have never failed me in the past and their products are of very high quality so I decided to get this one.Like I said in the first sentence I am blown away by the quality and how much you get.In the box you get the following:- 5MP Floodlight Camera with 2 adjustable brightness floodlights (the floodlights are in a metal housing)- User's manual- 2 year warranty card- Junction box- Installation hook- Screws and screw caps for waterproofingThe manual is very clear and states it several times that if you're unfamiliar with electric wiring then they recommend asking a professional for help.However thanks to the universal colour coding of the wires everything is dead simple. Of course first turn off the power supply to where you're planning to connect the camera. In my case the old floodlight already had an isolator switch that I could turn off.Once you set up the junction box with your electrical wiring it is time to connect the camera's wiring which is super easy. Finally just screw everything together and you're ready to turn the camera on.Using the ieGeek app it takes 1-2 minutes most to add the camera to the app and connect it to your WiFi. It is worth noting that this camera supports 2.4 GHz as well as 5GHz networks, unlike a lot of others which only support 2.4 GHz.Once it is connected you can set all your preferred settings. e.g. the brightness of the floodlights, whether the floodlight should come on using the PIR sensor and for how long. You can also add a microSD card for local recording or use their cloud features which also includes free 6 second clips if the sensor gets triggered.The camera also has an impressive night vision mode.I have recorded a short video with the camera which starts with night mode then I turn on the floodlight and the turn the floodlight off again.There are a ton of other features which could be another full page to describe, but overall it is a fantastic camera and I totally recommend it. It is surprisingly simple to install and of very high quality.

What an upgrade to our last ieGeek camera! We use this one round the back as it clearly lights the alleyway so we can see people walking through into our garden. It was super easy to set up, and the picture clarity is amazing. Definitely a home or small business security camera I would recommend!

This a good quality camera, with clear installation instructions. It's mains powered so you'll need a nearby power source. The ieGeek Cam app is easy to use, with various options to customise the setting. You can get 6 seconds per notification of cloud storage for free, or pay £3.19 per month. Alternatively, you can install a micro SD card (not included) and there are no further costs. Being mains powered, viewing the camera live is much quicker than battery powered cameras. The floodlight is bright and it's easy to adjust the angle of the 2 lights. Overall, I would recommend this floodlight camera if you require the function of a decent camera with the added floodlight function.
