Set up took less than 10 minutes, not including attaching the camera. I like that you can charge this camera by USB as well as solar. The app was very easy to navigate. The camera connected to my home Wi-Fi with no difficulties. There are paid plans to save footage to the cloud, but you do not have to have a plan to just be able to use live view, and if you want storage without cloud plan, it does have SD card slot. There are many customizations available in app for motion sensitivity, power saving, and alert schedule. The audio does have a bit of delay, but no more than our ring doorbells. The spotlight and siren both work flawlessly, and picture is very clear. I definitely would recommend this camera for anyone who doesn’t have power available where they’d like to add a camera, or for renters who can’t modify a property to add wiring. Great value for the quality and features offered.

I bought this security camera for the outside of my house. The battery was rapidly discharging within 2 weeks of being up, despite it being solar power charged. I contacted customer support and they informed me that it’s likely to be a battery malfunction. They kindly and amazingly sent out another camera for free! This camera works perfectly fine and is charging well. The picture quality is crystal clear and it connects without issues to my WiFi router.The camera has amazing AI features and can determine if a human or pet or vehicle passes by, with almost 100% accuracy. It is high sensitive to what is caught on the camera. The app to use with the camera is easy to navigate with an extremely user-friendly interface.In summary, a great purchase and a trustworthy brand and company. Both camera and app work very well. I would highly recommend this security camera.

This solar camera is an excellent choice for anyone looking for reliable, quality, easy-to-use home surveillance. The white color blends with the house well. This is my 3rd Igeek camera. I have the flood light and doorbell camera and they are all well integrated in the app. I chose this one because I didn't have an outlet close by and there was plenty of sunlight available. There is a cloud subscription but I chose to use an SD card and unlike other brands basic features are not locked if you choose to use an SD card. Also the subscription is not advertised everytime you open the app.The motion detection alerts are prompt and accurate. The mobile app allows for real-time monitoring and playback, making it convenient to check on your home from anywhere. The installation was simpleand plenty of storage capity if you plan on using the SD card. Overall, it’s a solid investment for peace of mind.

This is a great product, works well, really like it.The motion detection works well and sends timely notifications, which is a huge plus for peace of mind.The APP is GREAT compared to others; very user friendly.Two-Way Audio adjustable audio settings, you can even hear and talk; and a variety of notification options;2K HD Video is crisp and clear, video quality is good at night even its black and white video.I also really like the feature of the solar panel so I don't have to change a battery or connect it to a charger to keep it charged.If you insert a 256GB micro SD card, it can last more than 2-3 weeks footage.

I’ve been using ioGeek security cameras and doorbells for over three years. I’ve never had any issues with them and all have performed flawlessly. Lately I’ve been trying to find a dependable outdoor camera that features an attached solar panel. I didn’t like having to run a wire from the solar charger to the camera.When I saw ioGeek had developed what I needed it was a no brainer to order. Just like their other products this was easy to set up, easy to install, and easy to connect it to the app.After finally getting consecutive days of sun it charges right up and keeps the charge throughout the night.Once again ioGeek has come up with a WINNER!!

These products work amazing. I have the doorbell and 3 cameras. I have them set to show floodlight and record human movement. Best buy ever. Plug and play for solar cameras and easy to install. 5 stars. Support is extremely helpful if you have any issues. I just wish we could add more than 4 devices but this is a great product and even better for the price.

The camera is been very good so far, is compact size, (not to bulky) is good advantage that the solar panel is integrated, very good design, very easy process to add on the app cameras, fast connection from the beginning to end, the light is bright enough to see, the microphone is clear, I can hear the birds singing, the wind, the charging is good obviously with sunny days, is affordable price for the camera, for the installation of this camera is stable does not rotate which is good for some customer, just find the place for this camera without worrying to install the solar panels, very happy with the results of the camera, thanks

Extremely easy to set up! Sharing setup for both my husband and myself was just as easy. Took no more then four minutes to connect to wifi- and have both of our phones connected to the device! Perfect instructions and the camera is sturdy. Will be buying more for all sides of our home. The picture is our driveway and the main road DOES not alert for traffic driving the road- it does however alert for those driving up our driveway. Along with the solar panel this is Exactly what we wanted. We didn’t use the alarm but glad the option is there in case of a break in, but the light we did use and it is bright.

At this point I am very happy with this camera. I have in my back patio and it captures a very wide angle with a very clear picture. The reason I write “at this point” is because after I installed the camera the built-in solar panel was not charging the camera as I had expected living in a sunny area of the country.However, I contacted igeek via email they sent a standalone solar panel that actually arrived much earlier than anticipated.After installing and connecting it I am a much stronger charge in the camera. So far it’s been about a week and the battery has not died yet as it had been doing.I commend igeek for their prompt response and for their excellent customer service.

First, I have to say this is my fourth ieGeek camera. I have the original "box style" plug in camera, a doorbell camera, a PTZ style (solar) and now this solar style camera. Each has been of of exceptional quality and have been very easy to set up using the CloudEdge app. I had this one up and running in just a few minutes after inserting the micro SD card. As you can see, I mounted it on a telephone pole in front of our place in Fla. What I really like about this camera so far (as depicted) is the addition of more lighting incorporated into it (18 LEDs I think; see pic 3). The picture quality is exceptional (thought you might enjoy the sunset) and the motion detection flawless though that requires some "tweaking" depending on the location. The doorbell camera and older style one are installed in Maine and have withstood negative degree wind chills and massive snow storms. The two solar cameras are logically installed in Fla. so "power" is never an issue though I had the PTZ camera installed in Maine and it remained charged at all times. Buy any ieGeek camera, you won't regret the purchase!!

The camera uses a plastic housing and mounting bracket. It is light and has worked in rain with strong winds. I use the CloudEdge App on my Android phone and connecting this camera is straightforward using QR codes in manual. The manual is not detailed for the many settings so I just go through every setting icon/menu to see what I can adjust. When I don't find a feature I want to adjust I send an email to the support team. I use a 64GB card to record photos and videos vs. using the cloud service. Images and videos transferred from CloudEdge App to email are in JPG and MP4 formats. The internal antenna with 2.4GHz WIFI connection is weaker than for my other cameras with external antennas. It may take 30 seconds to connect. I charged the battery full before use since it's mostly cloudy and after a week of heavy use taking numerous motion alerts, videos, photos and connecting to the WIFI often the battery is at least half full. The motion sensor is sensitive enough to pick up squirrels 20ft. away and people 30 ft. away. The area to detect people movement can be adjusted. If the sensitivity is set too high, rain drops, sleet, spider webs blowing in the wind may be detected at night. I have attached a few images comparing daylight, camera light at night, and camera IR at night. The light is bright enough to see where to walk at night and there is an option for it not to turn on with motion if you want to capture black and white video using only the IR LEDs.

I was really amazed at this outdoor wireless camera. it is a neat, attractive, self-contained unit that does not have unsightly wires hanging around it and does not require a separate solar panel to be mounted near it.The unit was well packed in the box and easy to assemble. I needed to have this mounted on a utility pole about 30 feet from the house so it could point back towards the house, and it worked perfectly. The provided mounting template was very handy. I just stuck it to the pole where I wanted to mount the camera and that allowed me to pre-drill the mounting screw holes. I could then easily attach the mounting bracket to the pole.I already had the software installed from another camera from the same brand, so I did not have to do that. However, the original installation was easy. Configuring this camera in the software was quick and simple with guided instructions and I had it up and going in the matter of minutes.I was impressed with the quality of the image. The daytime images are sharp and clear. At night, the least little bit of light will provide a very usable image. I would recommend this unit to anyone and as my other cameras eventually go bad, I will most likely be replacing them with more of these. See attached photos of installation.

This camera has it all. The newly designed and integrated solar panel on top of the camera makes the installation much easier and does a better job keeping the camera charged. The motion sensor takes a bit of tweaking to get it right due to the sensitivity. Installed the camera and got it operational in about 10 minutes. Nice product with great color.
